1995 Flintmobile vs 2013 Flintmobile

Here's a head to head comparison for the 1995 & 2013 Flintmobile

I wouldn't say the 2013 is a remake version of the 1995, because its a different car after-all

The 1995 is a longer version or should I say the "sedan" version of the Flintmobile which has 4 seats, while the 2013 is the "roadster" which only have to 2 seats

Both car has been seen in the film used by Fred (and Barney) and their whole family

In my account the 1995 car has slightly won this battle, it has more details and accurate type of wheels. Unlike the 2013 which uses small wheels under the rolling rock wheels. But the 2013 got the correct lower frame, a Y shaped log with a straight base.The 1995 shouldn't have a 2nd pillar to withstand the roof.

Movie Themed Collection

Here's something from my collection. I'm a huge fan of Movie Diecast especially from movies / tv series that I watched when I was a kid. Hot Wheels has started it all by releasing the first Batmobile back in 2004 then it continues till now. When they releasing the Ecto-1 Ghostbuster, I knew I must have one.. then came Delorean Back To The Future, The A Team Van, KITT and this year they releasing more movie themed car such as the remake version of the Flintstones Flintmobile, Scoby Doo's Mystery Car, Batman Live and also they are planning to release Retro Entertainment series which should be delivered early 2013.

Mattel surely wont be making several movie cars due to exclusive copyrights issue such as
Duke of Hazzard's General Lee - Johnny Lightning
Mr Bean's Morris Mini - Corgi

2013 HW Superized (Hidden) Treasure Hunt - Toyota 2000GT

The word just in !! Hot Wheels just released their latest Superized (Hidden) Treasure Hunt, its the Toyota 2000GT. I'm guessing that this is another piece of art by the great Jun Imai

Just love how Mr.Imai bringing the classy nostalgic Japanese lineup to Hot Wheels. For this 2000GT, the metallic burgundy is just simply gorgeous !!

And I get the feelings that this beauty wont be available in the pegs :( and the price will be sky high, just like last years Superized Ferari 599XX

Hot Wheels Boulevard 2013 - Datsun 510 Bluebird Wagon

Just read the news today that Hot Wheels will be releasing a new Datsun 510 Bluebird Wagon on their 2013 HW Boulevard series. I found a picture on japanesenostalgiccar.com which they took during a sneak preview at this year’s Japanese Classic Car Show. This been also confirmed by the T-Hunted Blog

This car will be available in January 2013 in the Hot Wheels Boulevard L Dash Case, which will also consist of the following cars

- '71 Datsun Bluebird 510 Wagon,
- Renault 5 Turbo,

- '84 Pontiac Fiero.

Hot Wheels Treasure Hunt 2012 (Correction: 2011) - Datsun 240Z

Always been a huge fan of Datsun 240Z or also known as Nissan Fairlady Z coupe. One of the sexiest sports car ever build. My first encounter with this beauty is back in college, I was sitting around on the sidewalk, when then suddenly a beautiful white Fairlady pass by.. a moment that I will never forget till today.

When Hot Wheels decided to make a 240Z back in 2006, I was craving for one but never got one :( so when the opportunity came in 2011 when they released a Treasure Hunt surely I must have 'em !! Still collecting the TH Regular, coz the TH$ is quite expensive for my wallet. So here they are:
